yeh you can put the micoach on the inside of the left shoe.

take the insole out (could be the right one)

    6-month warranty

Sent in a pair of B6's, purchased in late 2011, for a 6-month warranty claim. Adidas sent me the B7 as replacement :)

In the box, I sent a note explaining the fit difference and if they were going to replace with the B7 to send size 10 1/2 instead of 11. They honored the request!

This is how you maintain happy, loyal customers. Nice job Adidas!

interesting i just received my replacement B6s and B7s a couple days apart from each other and they didn't send me two sets of B7s. I actually requested with a note for different color schemes which they didn't honor too. First time I sent in my B6s I went from black/green to blue/green per request.

Received a pair of B7's today. Has anyone ever received a pair with insoles being in the wrong shoe? The left insole was in the right shoe and the right insole was in the left shoe.

I found that extremely odd.. has anyone else found this in their pair?

Broke in the B7 Clay model yesterday (quick 2 mile walk on a track) then tested them on har-tru today.
Break in period is quick. Comfortable fit with that Barricade stability in a slightly lighter package. The all-bottom herringbone tred pattern is much 'tighter' (obviously more clay-geared) than the B6.

Fit: the B-7 felt like it ran a 1/2 size small vs my B-6's. Lacing system is a user-friendly big improvement over the B-6 as well.
    Nice job Adidas.

I outfitted mine with a pair of Superfeet insoles (green or orange, depending on whether I want firm or softer cushioning that day) and I wear the Adidas Formotion L-R specific socks, and this is a great combination for me.
I wear the same size in the B7 as the B6, and the B7 upper feels so much more flexible and pliable than the B6. Very comfortable, so much so that I have 2 pairs, a black/white/high energy and a new French Open black/high energy version. This is my favorite Barricade ever, even over the B5.

^^ Completely agree (about the B7's, not the Formotion socks ). I sent my blue ones in for the warranty, but couldn't wait, so I got a pair of black & white. Last fall, I was trying to find B5's to wear, but this is the shoe I'll be hoarding over the next couple years. Especially since some of the fall colors are awesome.

    Barricades 7.0 Omni is up

The long-awaited B7 Omni is up on TW Europe:

    http://www.tenniswarehouse-europe.com/descpageMSADIHFR-AMB7WBS.html

I wonder why, why the two always have to carry different color schemes.
I remember this happening with the Blue Nike Vapor 8 Tour. The US site never had them, and of all Nike shoes, those were the best looking.

I think they're the normal hard court ones (the omni-sole tread is not herringbone).

I do like the colourway though.

Am I our of my mind or are B7's wearing a bit more uniform than B6's? I used to chew up the B6's on the balls of my feet really quickly, but find that 7's are a bit more stable and can see where I'm wearing the entire sole a bit more uniformly. There's still more wear in the same areas, but it seems the wear is much more uniformly spread across the entire bottom structure. Could this be due to a more stable design of the new shoe or a new formulation of the sole material?

Either way, Adidas is a great company for shoes!!! I endorse them whenever I can and to whomever I can.

I've had both and i found that once u break in the 7's they have a little more room in the toebox than the vapor 8's. Im a size 13 and i have a medium width (but leaning towards the wider side) foot. i may end up switching to the new feathers, they look awesome and supposedly they are more generous in the forefoot! :) used to be a nike guy for shoes but think i may be an adidas convert!

Most durable and post-break in comfortable shoes that I have ever worn!

    The B7s have been fab!

There was the initial break in. Upper rear ankle was irritated by the fit. Also, the arch caused a few blisters. From memory, that took about a 2 week's worth of casual wear and then 4 hours of hitting balls on the court. After this, they gradually have become very comfy :)

Breathability has been great on stinking hot days lol

Also, the outsole durability and grip has been amazing on the hardcourts here in Melbourne. However, I am saying this only on the basis of the amount of tennis that I have played over the last year, i.e, approx 2 hours of tennis every week.

In comparison, my Nike Air Max Breathe Cage 2 shoes went bald and loss in traction was noticable in about half the time. Also, Upper shoe lace holes of the cage fractured so the fit was compromised :( I liked these shoes nonetheless.

Gonna wear a new B7 pair soon and play more tennis frequently so I will be able to supply more details on durability, break in, comfort, etc

I hope Adidas come out with some more wicked colours and patterns for the B7 before the B8.
    Great shoe!!!

Went away from the Barricades after the B5's, but just got a pair of 7's for 75 bucks at the Adidas store. Haven't tried them out on court, but extremely comfortable so far.

Yeah, to me they are the most comfortable barricades yet. But durability not quite as good as the 6.

I got a pair of Barricades 6 that feel clunky and I keep them as a spare to my Nike CB 4.3 (many) and my only pair of Vapors (9 I think, or 8).

TW are listing a number of Barricade 7 as 'NEW' with a price of $125.
(The Barricade 7s i purchased last year now showing as only $79)

Are these just new colors i.e. there has been no change to the shoe itself since the first Barricade 7's came out last year?.

    Thanks

Been hitting with the B7 for about two weeks now. Very comfortable show and it provides a lot of ankle support which I appreciate. Did feel a bit clunky at first since I was coming off using a lighter Babolat model. The only other thing I didn't like was the break in period was pretty long for me. Otherwise a great shoe. Though I do think the B5 is the shoe GOAT for me.

It seems the B7 has brought me luck though, won after saving match points for the first time in my life today.

I took like a week to break them in. It was a rather painful process (it always is for me for every new pair). But after that, they were amazing! Still are in fact. Since I play on clay, they last a lot!

I use the same pair for almost 8 months now, playing 4/5 days a week! They look a bit beat up, but still works like new.

I had B6's before those. B7's feel much more confortable and feel a bit lighter too IMO. They both are pretty durable!

    Barricade 7 update

I have been wearing the Barricade 7 boots for awhile now.

    I also have several pairs purchased in this order: hi-energy-white #1; hi-energy-white #2; prime blue-silver #1 and black-yellow #1.

I use a Dr Sholl orthotic called sports orthaheel to combat my overpronation.

I am 1.8 m and 90-100 kg. I move pretty well on the court and get to alot of impossible balls, well, in my neck of woods lol

They have been awesome shoes for the hard courts which I primarily play on.

    Break-in notes

    Time
Break-in time was about a 6-8 hours on court and and probably 6-8 hours wearing them casually when going out.

    Ankle and achilles skin chaffing
There were definitely issues below the ankle and the top of the achilles with respect to it chaffing the skin to the point of it blistering/rubbing the skin off! This occurred on both hi-energy-white versions at the beginning of wear. However, I found a solution for my next pairs. When I started to feel the ankle or achilles start to chaff, I stopped wearing them for a few days and used the broken-in pair. I did this upto 3 or 4 times.

    Arch
The arch was noticeable. it was more forward than other shoes that I have worn. However, this feeling disappeared after break-in.

    Blistering
Blisters would occur during the break in time at the arch when I was wearing the high-energy-white boots. I worked out a way to avoid the blistering on new pairs. Tightening and re-tightening the laces was important to minimise the blisters. Also, I stopped wearing them for a few days and used the broken-in pair.

    Cushioning comfort
Great both in the forefoot and heel. I was very impressed!

    Comfort of upper
Great except for the ankle and achilles skin chaffing as mentioned above. The upper on the other parts of the shoe were soft. I had no shoe lace hole/eyelets digging into me in all the colorways so far.

    Post-Break-in notes:

    Cushioning comfort
Great both in the forefoot and heel in all colorways :) Hi-energy-white #1 has been worn the most so these next observations apply to these boots. I felt the cushioning start to deaden after about 12 months of use on hard courts and wearing the shoe out casually. The deadening of the cushioning was more apparent in the forefoot. The on-court use equated to more than 100 hours. That being said, I could still use them on hard courts. I just am not taking any risks.

    Comfort of upper
Very nice. No rubbing to cause blistering or chaffing.

    Breathability
No big issues even on 30+ degrees C days. On these days, the feet definitely felt warm but not to the extent of me wanting to rip them off straight away after a 1 to 2 hour hit.

    Stability
Fantastic for the ankles on many many occasions when I have pushed the shoe hard! However, there has been a 3 or 4 occasions in which my ankles have felt sore almost bordering on a sprain with my black-yellow pairs. I have noticed that the midsole of the heels look a bit off-centre on black-yellow boots compared to the other pairs. Moreover, I tend to get this effect if I have not laced them tightly.

    Arch support
Been fabulous. No bad knees so no visits to the podiatrist!

    Toe-box comfort
I definitely have got %^&ing black toe nails from them smashing into the front of the shoe. This did not happen during the break-in period. Note, I have at least 1 to 1.5 cm of space between the front of my big toe to the front of the shoe. I have tried lacing the suckers to reasonable amount of tightness. However, this has not worked. One of my friends suggested that the vertical aspect of my feet was shorter than the shoe's height so my foot will keep smashing into the front no matter how much i tighten the shoe. Basically, I will not be able to lock in my foot ;) This makes sense because I have had Nikes and New Balance tennis shoes with the same problem, for example, the Nike Air Max Cage 2 red-white#1 boots that I had prior to my barricade 7 shoes. In this case, the rubber cage/upper started to get roomy and no amount of lace tightening could stop the toe jam lol I am trying out a new tactic to avoid this, i.e., to fill the volume up ;) More soon on this nasty-pastie lol

    Blisters
    None after break-in!

    Outsole Durability
Incredible! Sufficient depth of tread is still present after 12 months of use on hard courts and wearing the shoe out casually. The tread is such that I could still use them on clay courts. My Nike Air Max Cage 2 outsoles were bald in approximately half the time. The on-court use equated to more than 100 hours. However, this great durability is offset by the decrease in the cushioning at this stage. I may explore hi-energy-white on clay courts.....

    Toe durability
Awesome. I do drag my toe section of my boots. Only a couple of scuff marks on the plastic triangle. The scuff marks are not even dirty marks for some reason lol

    Traction
Awesome on the hard courts (plexipave, plexicushion, concrete and rebound ace) here in Melbourne and London indoor hard courts and bitumen outdoor courts. Just as fab on the en tout cas courts and synthetic grass courts here in Melbourne.

    Weight
I do not feel the weight for some reason. I feel fast in them!

    Upper integrity
For the shoe-porn mob! My boots are still looking sexy as ever! I keep getting comments on how awesome the shoes look even with the black-yellow pair which I have started using on en-tout-cas aka Melbourne's el cheapo nasty excuse for a version of clay courts lol

    Overall
Best tennis shoes that I have ever worn even with the toe jamming and break-in period which I am treating as minor issues. The shoes have really improved my footwork and I get to alot more difficult balls than when I was younger and with previous shoes.

More soon especially if I find my solution for toe-jamming....

    Happy tennis everyone :)
