    What advantage does the Yonex SHT-305 have over the Barricade II, and vice versa? Which one would you rather use and why?

    SHT-305 is a lot better than the Barricade II. But I liked the SHT-304 even more than the 305.

    sht305's have better venting and are much lighter
    the barricades might have a bit more cushioning inside the shoe

    the 304s imo are better shoes, then the 305, better cushioning in the soles and bit lighter
    304r seems pretty good too, just got em, so far so good!

    How is the 304R compared to the 304 and 305 in terms of fit? The 304 is much wider than the 305, especially in the midfoot.

    It's not offensive at all. From what I've read so far on this board, it is generally and almost unanimously agreed that Yonex tennis shoes are by far better than those from adidas. So I'd like to see more comparisons between the Yonex's.

    agreed, the 304 is wider then the 305, took a bit more break in time for the 305
    i'm breaking in a pair of each 304/304r right now, i'd say that the 304r is right in btwn the 304 and 305

    i know this is kinda for another post, but i always thought the silver 304 felt like it fit better then the white one......

    Are the 304R wider than the 304?

    ============================

    Back to the original topic. Never played with the BII but the 304 are wider and more confortable than the 305. Since, my feet are pretty wide ...the 304 just felt more stable to me. I use the clay court version(blue) 305. Get the 304 they are lighter like everyone has said and a better bargain. I used the white ...can't get myself to buy the silver ones.

    Love them more than my kswiss ultrascendor, Wilson open, Prince MC4, T9, Nike BF II...for comfort and especially cushioning(nice on my knees).
