I just recently purchased the Barricade III and I am not impressed
at all. These shoes are definitely not what I would consider a
performance shoe to be used for tournaments, but I would consider
them to be ideal as a practice shoe. They look great, excellent
durability, and they are comfortable. The problem with the shoe
is the fit/support-too much padding on the sides and top of the
foot allows your foot to shift a little as your foot presses up against
the excessive padding. This padding, along with the beefed up sole, also causes the shoe to have
a clunky, and boxy fit that you are constantly aware of as you
plod around the court. You definitely do not feel like a speed
demon with these shoes-very disappointing for the price.

I think the Barricade 2 II are better, im on my second pair, the first one I got for 40 on ****, now 80 on TW... :( well I think the II is softer and better than the III, the III cost only $10 more...

i also like the barricade II's much better than the III's thou i've only worn the III's around the store, and not running out on the court. II's just felt better right off the bat.

I have 3 pairs of barricade II, and 2 pairs of Yonex SHT 303. The barricade and SHT 202 are similar in my opinion:

Yonex SHT:Great cushion, Great balance and durability.

Barricades offers good durability with 6 month warranty, good traction, and stability.
