Any thoughts of switching or demoing other shovels? Or does that one give adequate flex and feel?

Unfortunately my local Home Depot has a rather restrictive demo program.

Only I would have to choose between two purple and green plaid shirts for Mardi Gras.

Broke the strings in the prestige tonight. If they last longer in the 18x20 it is a marginal amount, not a holy crap amount.

Broke the strings in my Wilson this morning, as soon as I started hitting with a fresh stringjob my hitting partner said my ball jumped a foot to a foot and a half higher.

    Nothing like fresh Luxilon.

All my original ones are in the big tennis park in the sky, currently I have one new K, and two gently used ones.

Going to be lean times come spring.

you should keep one K90 in a safe place without using it anymore... just in case you run out and want to remember what it used to feel like at some point in the future.

Rookie question... Where do you buy Kfactor's from? Aren't they discontinued?

the electronic bay and other online retailers of used stuff?

I got one new one my friend had in his store left for years, and two other gently used ones.

    Tough to find in 5/8.

When I decide against the Prestige, I will go all out in search of old K90s.

Or pray that the 2014 tour 90 isn't made of spit and sawdust like the BLXPS.

No, I think I will get one or possibly two more for the summer, and use them to practice over the summer, but I will play matches with the Wilsons.

Doesn't the racket change for matches require some adjusting? Why not just play with one and get used to it?

I don't have enough frames anymore, it is not uncommon for me to go through 5 stringjobs in a summer weekend.

But having played basically the same racquet for 7 years I don't need to worry about forgetting how to play with it.

I am far more likely to be sabotaged by my own incompetence than equipment.

I've had the worst sore throat known to man for the past two days. It hurts from my right ear, to my right shoulder.

Time to make some cough syrup.

Sounds like the makings of a good time. It's too bad you don't like the Prestige. The feeling of making solid contact with it is just fantastic.

Do you want another US K90 in 1/2? You can always build up the grip, and at your spec, the extra weight won't matter. :) BHBH

I love the prestige, and would gladly play with it if the Wilson's didn't exist.

But my shot is just better with the Wilson.

I see. So, if the new 90's have terrible durability are you going to play with the Prestige Mid then?

I always imagined Dali as more of a Dandy. Very Oscar Wilde eske. ;)

EDIT: Sorry, I don't know if that term carries well to our continent! No offence if it has different connotations here!

No, that says all that can be said.

    Lol.

    Dali the Magnificent.

I think of him whenever I hear a commercial for erectile dysfunction.

If only The Eagle would find us as it did him.

No, no. He is not a dandy at all, he has no flair whatsoever, very low key, very easy to overlook, it is only when you approach too close that you can realize the twisted creature that is Dali.

He is one of the most amazing, passionate (in a totally heterosexual way), joy bringing, human beings (and I use that term in the loosest possible way) whom I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

His randomness, and passion inspire joy within our plebeian existence; his defeatism, and resignation cause us to rail against the oppressive and suffocating regime that would grind down such a brilliant example of mankind.

The eagle watches over him. Dali is the chosen one.

Dali is the chosen one. I purchased a donnay frame from him awhile back. Didn't care for the frame but I kept it because it once belonged to the chosen one. Because of that I believe the eagle watches over me.

I met my GOAT #1 5.0 (4.5 NTRP) singles player at NTC for an Epic 6am workout and he had a handful of TT demo frames.

I picked up the Red and for the next 30 minutes I was GOATing. I fell in love. Bought a used one from TT Kai and it was a steaming POS and not the GOAT Stick after all.

I LoL'd at Donnay but then LoL'd at myself because in hindsight I gave that stick a total fail string and idiotic tension.
