Super busy lately. It isn't dead, just took a detour down the path of bourbon and shame.

Some kind of delay getting one in 5/8.

    Using Wilsons in matches.

Looks cool, but I doubt I will make the trip. I don't even know what day it is the past few weeks. Ever since the hurricane really. Hopefully stuff gets back to normal on Jan 2nd.

I had a week at work that was like one of those rites of passage from an old kung-fu movie where every day tested a separate aspect of my being.

Jolly, it could be the stringing machine? At our tennis club we have a two point mount Prince stringer and I swear it bent in some of the softer rackets I played with.

My Prince Tour 100's looked round like frying pans after just a few string jobs there.

The problem is two mounting points is not enough to completely secure the racket loop, so I've been using 6 point stringer since.

This is precisely why Jolly blocked Dennis from stringing his K90s.

Dennis is too lazy to string his own racquets, he usually borrows mine, or pays Pickle to string his, despite having a kickass stringer, and reels of string.

Dennis would much rather pirate episodes of Downtown Abbey.

My shots are just so much better with the Wilson.

    Except, maybe volleys.

Power kick 7'+, so much more action on my FH.

    Sad sad times.

When I use the prestige I feel like I'm ditching the fellas for some young sexy girl.

All I want is a tour 90 racquet that won't break, and a string that will last 5 hours.

Is that too much to ask?

Someone buy this man a Black Blade tour, the new Sampras stick, and make him demo it.

Do it for the sake of the TT community.

    Jolly Rancher,

I need to beat you upside the head for breaking so many racquets. I know people here glorify you for you manly hitting and macho attitude. However, I think you need to start learning how to calm your strokes down. You are a recreational tennis player and there is absolutely no reason to not only injure yourself, but to blast the ball like a crack head with a tennis racquet.

Tips on how to become a better recreational player:

    1. Buy a Babalot.
    2. Play mixed doubles more often. Embrace your inner woman.
    3. Lay off the scotch and whiskey. Learn how to enjoy an evening with a glass of wine or a smirnoff ICE.
    4. Buy a pair of skinny jeans. They are very trendy and both sexes will holler at you.
    5. Start tracking your aggression daily.

    Yours truly,

    a good samaritan

have you tried the Prince Diablo Tour (93, 16*20)?

I demoed the K90 at the time i was playing the prince diablo. I´ve discovered some common playing characteristics at that time, but i could be wrong because it was some years ago, when the K90 come out...

I tried it circa 2005 which was I think near its heyday. Sweet frame, good off the ground, not much steam, and didn't serve or volley particularly well.

That is to the best of my recollection, 7 years ago is a long time for a guy who leaves the house and 15 mins later at the supermarket can't remember what he needed.

Just came home and tried on 9 pair of jeans because I didn't like how the ones I was wearing matched my shirt, sweater, and jacket.

I'm on a strict diet of steak and whiskey.

The waitress asked how I wanted my steak, I said "Breathing."

Tonight I saw the Pickle and Dali duo in action. I was kind of playing a match at the same time, so I couldn't spend much effort looking over their way.

Some hitting with the BLXPS, BBO/ALUr 50#

Camera battery ran out just before I hit a nice groove with my S&V timing, so you will have to take my word for it that I made a few sweet volleys.
