Highlights of the weekend included getting checked out be Lleyton Hewitt's wife, and having Michael Russell apologize for interrupting our doubles match, at which point Pickle informed him that he looked bigger than in the commercial.

I was after doubles match for (1) wearing asics with nike shirt and shorts, (2) head sticks and using the tecnifibre bag that I bought from Dennis for $20, (3) not hitting anyone, and (4) my little boy haircut. Usta is ruff.

Pickle is down 2-0 because of his staunch refusal to call balls out.

Pickle breaks back 4-4. Opponent questions pickle's call. Ball was two feet out.

Pickle blobbs the tiebreaker. In an unfortunate series of pushing and dubious linecalling with moments of brilliance.

That was quick...Jo11y tanning hour sounds like a LI bakery was in serious production mode.

BB King's has fried pickles on the menu...yum yum! Not a fan of them on the tennis court. What happened to him???

I returned from my match to find Pickle returning at 5-5, he broke to go up 6-5, then served the set out but not before double faulting when up 40-0, because why would anyone ever want to win easily.

In the third set tiebreaker Pickle was done in by his own nerves and his opponent's dubious line calling. He went down into a quick 5-1 hole as his serve left for vacation in Maui, and was unable to mount a comeback.

No need to be devastated, JD - Pickle enriched his personality with the joy of learning which only comes from losses, so there....

J011Y, I hope those were NOT Eagle wings....
