    I actually think this will mean a great deal to Roger. It's his home soil, he was a ballboy there, won the title there and now it's named after him. I think it doesn't get much sweeter that that, unless they name Wimbledon centre court after you;)

    On the contrary it's even delayed!He had to win 14 to honour him in Basel?!!?

    But would be funny to play in Roger Federer stadium!:mrgreen:

    This is a great way to honour Rog. Imo 'The Roger Federer arena' sounds better.

    It will be a bit awkward when they’ll have to chance the name to “Wawrinka Arena” once Stan will surpass Federer’s records…

    Well if Switzerland will get a GS or Masters level tournament (Not sure if this will happen) I'm 100% certain that the main court will be named after him.
