Inaugural event, "BATTLE OF THE BAY CLASSIC" features both College players and ATP tour pros in a interesting almost a Pro-Am type of format. Event takes place at California Tennis club this weekend. One of the HOTTEST tickets this weekend in the bay area for sure. Here is the link to the event.

What? According to Feddie it is one of the HOTTEST tickets this weekend for sure! Too bad the 49ers or Raiders were not in town or this event would have given them a run for the money.

Denis Lin and Walker Kehrer capture the doubles title while Lin reaches the finals in singles. Stanford newcomers shine once again... I predict that Denis Lin will one day win the NCAA singles championships. Perhaps not this year but in coming years..

    SINGLES
    Walker Kehrer
    d. Rainer Nachbauer (San Francisco) 6-4, 6-0 in first round
    d. Grant Fleming (Santa Clara) 6-3, 6-2 in quarterfinals
lost to Andrew Kells (Santa Clara) 6-4, 6-3 in semifinals

    Denis Lin
    d. Asaf Cohen (San Francisco) 7-5, 6-2 in first round
    d. Lucas Tirelli (Saint Mary's) 6-3, 6-2 in quarterfinals
    d. Thai Tu (San Francisco) 6-3, 6-2 in semifinals
lost to Andrew Kells (Santa Clara) 2-6, 6-4, 6-4 in championship match

    DOUBLES
    Kehrer/Lin
    d. Buckley/Pham (Santa Clara) 8-6 in first round
    d. Kells/Vinel (Santa Clara) 8-5 in semifinals
    d. Nachbauer/Schumacher (San Francisco) 8-1 in championship match

Good prediction. You should make Lin your Avatar even before Clayton wins the NCAA's but not until Bruch wins it first.

I've been away from the board for while. Has anyone ever actually met Feddie?
