    I saw the Navratilova Connors match. The rules for that match were that Martina could hit into one the doubles lanes and Jimbo got only one service. Martina put a fight on the first set but she lost it and Connors won the second easily. I don't remember the score but it was something like 7/5 6/1. Martina looked very nervous, missed a lot of easy shots, made many double faults.

    I have heard of this match but never seen it before.

    I was suprised to hear that Connors gave up the doubles alleys, but the video shows that these were reduced-size doubles alleys, maybe a half of the width of the standard size.

    Well, he had to give her some advantage. Otherwise he'd double bagel her. Connors was an active player and still in the top 20 by then.
