I'm going to be in Oakland, CA for a few days and would like to work in a hit while I'm there. I'll have a car or can hop on the BART so anywhere in the city or Fremont, Berkeley, whatever, it's all good.

I'm a streaky 4.0 but can roll with anyone in the 3.5 to 4.5 range. Just want to get out and play. Thanks!

I never check my Email, so that won't help.
Should be rainy just after the 10th or so, like it always does in mid Feb.
510-501-1702 is my #, but I can be wrong. It's hard to verify my own phone #. Hit me here, it's easier. I'm in SanPablo, like just N of ElCerrito. There are nice courts (but shady) 6 blocks away. And places for lunch too.
I don't know where the courts are located in Oakland, but what part are you staying near? My normal noontime courts are the RoseGarden in Berkeley.
SanPablo, on Oregon and two blocks up from SanPabloAve. in Berkeley has 6 courts and pickup tennis most PM's, lights at night. Kiteboard plays there.

If Mel is still with us....
Plenty of pickup courts at your level.
Alameda has CrownBeach courts, like 7 or so, afternoon your level pickup tennis.
Oakland has Davies Courts, a little higher level, a few less lower level players.
SanPablo in Berkeley is maybe 2 blocks from Oakland. Your level pickup tennis from 10 till 4 or so, then mostly better players who would need to check you out before agreeing to hitting with you.
RoseGarden in Berkeley has dropped to mostly a mixed 3.5 doubles, noon crowd only. Some experienced older low 3 thru solid 4.5 doubles guys, but hardly ever all 4.5's.

    Hey Guys,

Thanks for the replies. I was able to secure a hit in Fremont while I'll be in town. Not sure if I'll have much time in addition to that since my visit will be short. But, I'll hit you guys up if I can work something in again before I leave. Appreciate the leads.
