    19-20mm. Nothing over 22mm.

beam width measures the thickness of the frame...so basically when you look parallel to the racket, you're looking at the beam.

    your photo doesnt work...

for me i like 18-21 as well...i thought 20 mm was PERFECT...but i guess anything around that would do..22mm jus seems too thick for me and feels awkward when i hold it

    Hi,

Anything from 20-24 mm is fine.. over 25 and the old slice BH.. seems to suffer.. or maybe it is just all in my head.

    Regards,
    Steve

I prefer 18-20 just because I'm used to it, more clearance for topspin, and it's typical of the rackets I like. However, I would not overlook a racket I liked just because of a bigger beam than what I'm used to.

So where does the 16mm beam fit in the survey?

As I write, it's 86% for 17-21mm. What the hell happened to all the Babolat users around here? Or are they just dissatisfied with their racquets?

My Racquet has a 22 mm Beam, so that is what works for me.
