What do you guys think has been the best match so far? I gotta go with Nalbandian-Hewitt, though yesterday's Tipsarevic-Verdasco (Tipsy completely gave up after serving twice for the match and having 3 match points) and Federer-Simon were great, too. And, does anyone know if Andreev had any match points against Almagro? He must've in that 4th set breaker...

Agree with this assessment. Except my #3 is Kubot/Querry.

These aren't the best, but more interesting match up...

    Nalbandian vs Hewitt
    Fed vs Simon
    Verdasco vs Tipsarevic

Just NO. That was painful. Date hitting error after error after error and still having cartloads of opportunities to close it out, all squandered. The only thing that is memorable about it is the Radwanska racquet head episode.

Almagro - Andreev was the best I've seen, def. better than Verdasco - Tipsarevic IMO.

Since when are we allowed to discuss match outcomes outside of the spoiler forum?

both Kirilenko's matches were the sexiest, though Nalby/Hewitt was pretty high class stuff

We aren't supposed to, which is why I'm not answering the question until probably tomorrow(24-hour rule and all that).

Nalby/Hewitt and Fed/Simon are obviously the best so far. I think both offered great drama and good tennis as well. Hopefully we get more.

All the matches were ugly and pathetic. The Karate match between Michael and I was far greater than any of these supposed tennis players.

Nalby/Hewitt was the best so far and mostly because of watching their 2005 match at the Aussie made this match as anticipating. Seeing their 2005 match was a lot better than this but the fact that they both were 29 and had gone through hip surgery. Being at a lower ranked then their prime at 2005, seeing them produce this level of tennis again was just great!

I am not your friend, nor will I ever be. However, we can form an alliance, but this must be done in silence. If you dare cross me I will destroy you.

Dwight, if you are a new poster show some respect and don't act like a clown. If you are just one of the countless losers that have another username then a banning will commence either way. again, if you are new welcome to the boards, but don't be a jerk..at least until you have earned your stripes.

as far as the matches...you must not have watched a single one.

Hewitt v Nalbandian definitely. Was one of the first matches in quite a while that lived up to the hype
