The local "everyone's favorite" used sporting goods store had some neat finds today.

I picked up a LM Prestige Mid, great condition but ended up returning it (too heavy )

I got my sweet PSC 6.0 95 there UNSCATHED for 8 bucks (i will post pics)

then they had a plethora of classic mids and such.

    Prince CTS (?) 90
    Ti. Radical 98
    Twin Tube Radical 98
bunch of Ignite 95s and EXO3 graphites (93 and 100)
    (3) Head tour 98s (green, made in austria) nice feeling sticks!
    And a sweet TFeel 325
    and a C10 C8 and PB10 mid

    all for $10 to $50

    Lets hear your finds!

after a bit of research, i have concluded that the rackets that i saw were the green Head Tour X-tra long rackets, pretty much an extended radical.

    sound about right?

You wanna get those 2 Rads for me, and I'll send you a payment?
Sorry we hijacked this thread. xD
Well, I don't have a used sporting goods store, but Goodwill is the closet thing I have here. My friend and I found a Pro Staff 6.0 Classic 85 Taiwan in 9/10 condition. Got it for $5.

Yes I have three of those racquets (see pic). I cut them down to standard size 27" and they play pretty nice. They were originally 28" long. Where are you located?

I picked up on craigslist 2 K Blade Tours from a HS kid for $80. He switched over to Yonex and wanted to move the product. Good deal but demanding stick.

I found some very good condition Wilson PSC's for $30 a piece. No chips and no scratches in the paint, just some scuffs to the bumper.

I also bought a brand new KPS 88 for $65. That was pretty sweet.

Very nice stick. Great spin but just a little light for me. IMO this racquet does not feel as stiff as the rating 67. Awesome looking racquet!

They play like older Radicals. Nice soft flex and hefty to swing (by today standard). How much are they asking for Tour Extra Long?

Looks like a great opportunity to double or quadruple your money or more. I'd buy the PS 6.0 (looks new in the pics and would sell for ($100+ easy!) and the Pro Tour 280 (will sell for $100 easy!)as they are in high demand! Well, I'd buy them from you for your cost in return. I'm a reseller myself. I just bought a brand new Head Flexpoint Radical OS for $40. It won't fetch me as large of a profit as the two above I listed for you!

Earlier this year I was in a golf pro shop that had a barrel with a bunch of random golf clubs and tennis racquets. Everything $9. I played my round of golf with a brand new prince approach 90 with plastic on the grip and card insert sitting in the back of my golf cart.

I felt that was a pretty good bargain.

I think thats about right. Im pretty sure the original price sticker on the card is $200. I know there are several sales prices on the card.

I used to play with them in juniors-freshman in highschool. That is why I was so happy about spotting it.

Strung it up and hit around for a few, rocket launcher.

I haven't paid retail for a frame since whenever the nCode series came out.

I'm averaging about $30-40 per frame paid for my last 10-12 frames, all in 7+/10 condition. Yonex RDS, POG, Prestige, Dunlop 200, etc.

    ^^^^ yup.

Although I did pay new for the last PS85s and a kPS88, and I paid discounted prices for new Dunlop HM200gs in 2005.

Most of my racquet acquisitions are from thrift stores, used sporting goods shops, garage sales, and e-bay.

As long as people phase in and out of the game and avid players keep thinking they've got to dump their old stuff for the latest and greatest, I'll happily take discarded perfectly playable frames.

Picked up two 9.9/10 Ti Radicals for collector's pieces this week for $40 each. Gonna get 'em autographed by one of the '01 Wimbledon doubles winners.

Would have been an even better deal, but the guy wanted a ridiculous amount for shipping. It was a good enough deal to eat that cost.
