Looks great! I've yet to see any blue courts I can play on around me. Love to try it, though.

I don't know about the best but I will tell you what the worst is: the stuff they use at the Australian Open.

I really like blue or dark purpulish courts, but I tend to dislike the green around them. Dunno why though.

    I play on green. I know.........boring huh?

But a court is a court so I don't care.

At the racquet clubs they have blue though. :)

I luv that blue. Only blue courts I know of are at this indoor facility but cost an arm and a leg just to play there. There is another indoor club and their courts are a light tan/brown. Nasty

I really would like to play on one of those blue courts surrounded by green. I have only played on all green courts and green surrounded by red hard courts and also har-tru courts.

The courts where my county hosts the H.S. boys & girls championships has blue courts w/a reddish hue & they're terrific. Must easier to see the ball & call lines it seems.

I prefer green because when I play on a different color it feels weird. I am just used to green, even though i think they are ugly.

more pictures. It seems easier to spot a ball being in or out with contrasting colors (blue, green)

i like the type you posted swissv. i hate the ones which are green surrounded by brown. if i could make my own, it would be white (with black lines), surrounded by blue, that would be easy to see the ball :D

ewww, white - that would get all dirty skuff marks and plus it would be blinding IMO.

I like the blue on green personally... it might just be because I'm so used to the green on red and something new would be nice.

I really like the look of the green and blue. At my club, the indoor courts are dark blue, with light blue outside them.

They were completely resurfaced. The board decided they like those colors and there you go. The only reason why the courts are so nice (even the courts before the resurfacing were very nice) is that the courts are tucked away out of sight so very few people know about them.

You can't see it from the street, the courts are public so there are no advertisements about it (no need for profit), and the courts are located in a quiet residential area so you would really have to seek it out to find it.

We have blue courts at our club (a lighter shade than the pics posted in this thread).

I was totally pumped when the US Open moved from green to blue courts - much easier on the eyes imo....

    alone = along?

I live one state away from California :)
I would bet if the courts were in cali, then it would be very busy. The courts are busy enough as it is right now, but the people that go to the courts are the same people almost every day.

The High School courts in my area are blue surrounded by a brownish-red. They're pretty nice.

The courts I regularly play on are solid green.

wow. this would def be the strangest court ever...not to mention the fact that you would have to actually play in the dark in order for these courts to be seen...

My indoor club has Orange carpet courts with Blue on the outside. Easy to see the ball

It's the same colour blue as the OP's courts

Those are the same color combo of courts i usualy play on. I also played on the US Open Blue/Green courts for most of the summer:D. However, on one tennis court i go to its all green (boring) and one is Green with Red on the outside. My high school courts are also boring since they are all green:-|

My Favorite has to be the Blue/Green...its so much easier to see the ball that way.

My HS Courts by the way:

those are awesome... the few public ones here are cement. hard to see the lines. and the nets sagging... but the club courts are nice, and free once you have membership, so i wont complain

I've played on several different USTA blue courts. I like the dark blue ones like some of the photos, but the USTA is going with a lighter blue lately.

I don't care for that. The lighter USTA blues causes glare for me

Blue is absolutely out of the question for many areas. The reason for this is that some birds, namely seagulls, poop on water when they fly, and when they're high up, blue court looks like water.

There's a club we used to visit for our league and they had blue courts and it was full of bird poop. I even got pooped on my hand during play. And this club is more than 10km from the lake.

    EWWWW - hahahahaha

sorry, but that kinda made me laugh. Well, time will tell to see what the birds do around our courts. you would think it would be even worse for people in a pool with the birds flying around.

The only birds I actually do see here on a regular basis are the little pipsqueak birds, and quail. But they barely venture close to the courts.

It sounds like the glow in the dark indoor putt putt. That is some tough putt putt. I dont think it caught on because dang it you can't see anything even with the glow in the dark. Needless to say those putt putt places are no longer in business.
