    hey everyone-

i will be training in florida 6 hrs a day for the next few weeks. i was wondering what kind of overgrip you could recommend to me. i dont like how tacky prince dura pro and tourna tac. i really like tourna grip, but was wondering if there was anything more absorbent but not necessarily more tacky. thanks!

Tournagrip doesn't do it for you? What I find myself doing (and losing $ in the process) is changing Tourna before each hitting session. If you sweat so much, make sure to wear a sweat-band and change it whenever it gets soaked.

Try the tacky version of tourna-grip and also yonex super-grap. I have had a lot of success with the yonex grip in 100 degree heat. I also change my overgrips only when I restring my racquet. For some reason the white yonex grip feels the best, so if you don't mind it getting dirty go for that one!

I like the Tournagrip for hot weather. Only used it twice but it's definately better than supergrap/WPO for heat.

Gosen overgrip, the most popular grip in Vietnam (aka pretty sure hotter than florida)

I prefer Supergrap over Tournagrip in the Florida heat but many of my friends like Tournagrip better in the heat. The real heat won't return here for another 2 months, so I think you'll be OK with either.

Original Tourna only, along with a couple wristbands.

When all else fails, I put on the trusty tennis glove. Never slips out of my hand after that.

    over grip, etc

im in Fla & it sure is hot, humid now. I use tournagrip or wilson COMBINED with GRIP SHIELD for hands & you will have no sweat/grip problems. good luck

i mean, i've never been to vietnam....so it may be the same...but, i think the part about florida that gets people is not neccesarily the heat, but the humidity...the sweat just like sticks on you...

Tourna tears apart way too quickly and it doesn't slip but having the crap all over your hands is just as irritating. Gamma Supreme gets slick and I'm not even a big sweater. Yonex Supergrap is the best. Not as tacky as Supreme, but that's good because too tacky gets slick, Yonex has some tack and absorbs. And it lasts.

In vietnam, it's tropical so the humid is year long :)
