considering that novak has been roundly condemned by everybody from andy roddick to the members of this forum for a year for doing imitations, imitations are generally thought to be in bad odor!

Federer imitation was amazing. Especially when he serves and then imitates hitting the ball to the ball boy.

really????? at 173 posts, you supposedly were not on this forum ?????? when novak was comdemned (at the same time of the USO) by all those who hate his nation of origin for doing IMITATIONS.

Now either you were not here then,
or you were. Were you???

he's got a natural talent for that, obviously... but he must have also worked a lot his imitations for arriving to such a great result ! :)

by the way, among the "related videos", i fell on this :

imitations are mocking and in poor taste.
    there's nothing admirable about them.
    they're worthy only of condemnation.

that's what MANY here wrote of Novak's imitations
in summer 2008, even tho the imitations being
    shown were done in 2007.

    most interesting!

How ironic that you tell a professional tennis player what is offensive to professional tennis players...

come on, these imitations are not made in a bad spirit... imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, don't you say that ? :)
... djoker's imitations were good too, but as he is a (famous) pro player himself, it was a more risky game with fellow (grumpy ?) players ! ;)

I think that's mainly because people got sick of it. And it wasn't Novak's fault, he was being made to do it for the cameras most of the time. The first few times it was amusing (and that's when Novak would do it willingly), but then it got old.

Oh and when did Roddick say he didn't like Novak's imitations? Roddick does a lot of them himself, no?

Wow, lighten up. Novak was condemned because his impressions sucked and like another poster said, he was mocking his rivals. Totally different situation.

The Kuerten impression was ridiculous. I almost spit up on my keyboard.

    the imitations were priceless!!!

He did a very good imitation of Federer's forehand...and also the way he does the first bounce of the ball when serving!!!! and hitting the ball to the ballboy in the opposite court after winning his service game...

Also, in the other video, the Moya running around his backhand move is GOLD!

A lot of people like Novak HE'S not annoying, it's how you perceive him and no body minded his impersonations. Thing is to enjoy them you can't just have a sense of humour. You have to have a GOOD sense of humour.

This guy's good! Federer down to a T and the Nadal energy buzz too... lol :)

    2 NOVAK
I played the Amersfoord Dutch Open few years ago and lost in last round qualis..At night in the players hotel i met Novak in the elevator with his girlfriend back then...
I steped in the elevator and was kinda stoked seeing him..He said "Hallo how ur doing"???..ï said ÿea not 2 bad thanks..but lost today in Q3..
He said "Bad luck.."..against who..???I said Vinceguerra.."he said he knows him and he is tuff 2 play ...good forhand and so on..so he was kinda cheering me up.."..as i walked out of the elevator he said.."have a good night and good luck..!!!
I thought that was awesome..Great guy...!!!
After that Coria walked passed me ...i looked into his eyes and said Hey..He just looked down on the floor and walked straight passed..didnt say a word..
