What are the best shoes for comfort and knee-joint health among the New Balance and Wilson brands?

I am currently using NB CT1001. I have heel pain and this NB makes my feet really happy, even under heavy running.

I like the NB CT801 - I'm sure the 802s are similar. But then, I haven't been able to try the shoes that don't come in B width, so I can't speak for the 1001/1002, or the 820, etc.
I was not happy with the 752. Just didn't seem as cushioned and didn't fit right, besides. Your mileage may vary, of course.

    My $.02

The Pro Staff s1000 are a very good value for the money. Mine have held up well and are comfortable

The other comfortable shoe is the Crossfire II. Great cushioning and feel average durability

The NB CT1001 are next on the list for me.
