I have played with all of them. Just wondering on which one you people think is the best one ever made in terms of softness and playability. Not stiffness like the youtek Prestige mid.

And which one is your favorite keeping in mind the above points.

I've played with the FlexPoint, MicroGel, YouTek, and Innegra. To me, the Innegra played the best. It has a softer feel to it that I really enjoyed from everywhere on the court.

You didn't list the PC600? That is the best one man.

My favorite is i-prestige out of the these: PC600 (Trek font, Italic Font & Designed in Austria), Prestige 600, Prestige 600 Tour, TXP, MG prestige mid, and i-prestige mid. I do like all of them, however.

PC 600 not listed because obviously you can't find it anywhere. I know that was the best but that's like saying is fed going to play Sampras in a grand slam final anytime soon no because Sampras is retired. I meant the current and not too distant prestige mids.

I'm pretty sure at this point, an i.Prestige Mid is just as hard to come by.

This is like listing 'best movie ever'

    Transformers
    Independence Day
    A.I.
    Shanghai Noon
    Bad Boys

Your warped frame of mind of what a good prestige is, follows just your birth era. Some of the best stuff happened before you were born. No wonder people rated your thread 1 star.

You should've left out I.prestige as well if you're talking about "current" model. Is pretty retarded for you to suggest that as a racket you can buy today.

You can pretty much find them all if your patient. I've owned all at one point or another.

Of the Prestige Mids, I've kept:
    3x iPrestige, 2x PC 600, 2x 600 Green, & 5x TGK 237.2

600 Green is my favorite 18x20 Prestige. (Not full CAP Green Grommets makes it swing different than the PC)

237.2 is a totally different type of Prestige Mid (16x19) & customized to my weight and balance specs. My Favorite mid of all time! But replacement grommets are impossible to find.

I tend to agree with you……..When I played against Red lands and Claremont Mckenna many moons ago I was sporting the I prestige mid……and was ripping it up….the two above colleges were ranked 1 and 2 in our division…….well the number 1 or 2 of one of the above teams was playing with the PC 600 that he said he got from one of the touring pros at the time……it is a great regret of mine that I never asked to hit with it at the time……..

I tried to find an original one but no such luck……I own a couple of I prestiges, a flexpoint, 2 microgel prestiges, 1 youtek, ……..

From the above the youtek was the worst for me……absolute bollocks……..to others it was great………the microgel was nice. I liked the soft feel………of it……was very nice……lately even though I play with the Donnay platinum mid have gone back to hitting with the flexpoint mid…….and enjoying it……but for me from my experience I played my best tennis and won most of my college matches when I played with my I prestige…

Another thing which I am sure everyone has noticed is that I preferred the Made in Austria prestiges…….just generally felt more solid…….had some intrinsic Head element in them when you played with it…….the made in China ones just do not have that nor the feel of the earlier prestiges…….I cant put my finger on it….

Oh and to most of the above I mentioned post your favorite prestige mid keeping softness and playability

I guess my original comments is valid here too:

"I'm trying to understand... No screw it, I give up"

That's like talking about the best basketball player EVER, and Michael Jordan's name isn't included because someone didn't watch him play live. A discussion about the "best Prestige Mid EVER" without the PC600? Please.

Say what say lo say you say me

I guess its hard for you to either get this or read English. This was a thread about the best prestige mid ever which is bound to be a very subjective list based on each person s preference. The only criteria I asked people to vote on is softness and playBility. Not a debate in absolute terms over which is the best . Maybe I should have made that more clear taking into account who I'm dealing with.
Still does not excuse your blindness in noticing there is a category titled other in which you can vote and then wrote in a post which racq in the prestige family you are voting for . Say lo say yo

The problem isthat you typed EVER and did not list all the prestiges. So therefore you left out the best Prestige EVER which is the PC600.

Now if this is a thread that you are using to help you figure out which one to buy, I would suggest the newest one. Our resident Prestige Master, VSBabolat has stated that it is the closest in feel to the PC600.

You're really going to talk to me about English when you write sentences like that? Also, accusing me of be blinded but you're the one ignoring the widely acclaimed PC600? Alright man, whatever helps you sleep at night. I guess if you can make a thread about "best ever" while ignoring the older models, then you can certainly be a hypocrite about the language as well. You know you've lost the argument when you resort to name calling, and poking fun at one's screen name.

Best "recent" Prestige, sure, valid thread. Best "ever" Prestige? Please.

    Best ever post so far.

No no this isint a thread to figure out which one to buy. I own most of them if you read my above posts carefully. This was a thread based on me being curious as to which prestige mid other tt people prefer.
And t seeif it corellates with my preference. I own the innegra and found it plush and soft but prefer the raw feeling of other prestiges

Actually I sleep just fine. And no far from losing any argument I really did find that screen name which is probably your real name side splitting coupled with the arrogance and rudeness of your posts. Met many like you in the past and truly find posts such as the type you post beneath me. For you to post such strong posts based on the word ever shows that you take all this way to seriously. Get a life maybe a significant other and stop polluting my thread.
Get some interests apart from tw.

Say Chi Sin Lo isn't a troll, if you actually read what he was saying you would understand. Furthermore, it's not that difficult to spell someone's moniker on here correctly. It makes you look rather stupid if you can't, honestly.

Thank you Doubles. However, it appears that logic and reasoning were abandoned back in the 1st page, so just let it go.

If OP wants to talk about the "best Prestige mid ever" while ignoring the version that made it popular, so popular in fact, that it was brought back and re-issued twice since the original discontinuation, then just don't contribute to the thread. OP wants to hear what he/she wants to hear, what can you do about that?

A better question: is it worth the effort?

Nothing wrong with that. It's all a matter of personal preference when it comes to rackets. Some will love the FlexPoint, others will hate it. If you like it though, more power to you.

If I was to hazard a guess could be the feeling of the flexpoint. Less stiff than the youtek and less springy then the microgel. Somewhere in between. A great stick.

Yes I would tend to agree with you....After the intelligence, microgel flexpoint comes in number 3 for me......I could be wrong but I think the flexpoint was made in Austria ...I just feel that the Austrian sticks just had a different feel to them than the made in China ones................

I noticed you mentioned that you liked the youtek version and could play well with them........to me the youtek was probably the worst version for me........some like them some dont......I guess my game is not good enough for the youtek.....maybe a more advanced player could handle the stiffness of that racquet.............I just felt I had no feel on my shots playing with that prestige......

Today I won a match again against a much higher ranked player playing with my old flexpoint......giving the donnay a break for a while.......maybe a few more days ......but having fun with the flexpoint........its funny I never much liked it when I first played with it but now with some tourna bhbr I am enjoying it.............

Man I drop some heavy hits with the youtek...It suits me to a tee.....
I guess you are right different sticks suit diff players.....some like the feel others dont........

My friend plays with the innegra and she loves it.....plush feel and she bangs the ball around.....Man you are right the Austrian prestiges were totally different feel wise..........

I've owned 'em all, and I gotta say my fav is the Microgel. Still have one of those and an IG (not bad either... heck, it's a Prestige). Is it the "best ever"? I loved the PC600, the Classic Mid, the Intelligence, and I know these are the popular choices. What I can say for certain is that I did not like the Liquidmetal or Flexpoint versions. They played ok, but they did not feel to me like I expect a Prestige to feel. You all know the feel I'm talking about - that magical, crisp-but-soft, buttery, extension of your arm type of feel that you associate with a Prestige mid. I like the MG version though because it seemed to combine the best qualities of the Intelligence and PC600's.

    My $.02
