What racquet do you think is best suited for a 9 year old girls game? Also, what strings do you recommend?

Prince makes a Warrior Jr. 25" racket with a 100 sq in head my daughter uses and it is very solid.

If she's a fairly good player, look at some of the Volkl 26" junior rackets. They make a Tour 9 that I thought looked especially nice, and didn't feel cheap. My son, 11, has been using a Prince Bandit MP for the past few years also, but I'm not sure it was entirely the right choice.

Is she taking lessons from a teaching pro? I would get guideance from him/her. Her coach knows her game and should be able to give you an idea as to whether or not she's ready for a 27" racquet or if she should stick with a Jr. racquet.

The other suggestions are good and you might also want to look at the Pro Staffs from Wilson in 25 or 26 inch.

If shes strong go with the 27" if shes still a little weak go for Jr. racquets, you need to get a racquet that fits her swing style, watch when she plays: are they fast, med, slow, long, mod, short? Get a racquet that fits for that not from popularity ;)
