Miami final 3rd set and the 5th set of Hewitt v Nalbandian at the AO are the sets I remember for their extreme intensity.

1st set of Fed v Djok at RG was insane.

Everyone except Montanes enjoyed the 5th set of Fognini v Montanes at RG.

3rd Set of the US Open Final. Just when you thought they couldn't make your jaw drop, they did it again.

Yep. I remember being completely blown away at the gets and shots of both players that set. I felt like I was seeing tennis evolution while simultaneously feeling like I was seeing a fight to a slow death. Was it McEnroe that said something like "If this goes to a 5th set, one of these guys is going to die." I remember another announcer laughing at the comment and Johnny Mac with a straight voice saying he wasn't kidding. I felt like I knew what he meant. I've only been following the tour for about 3 seasons, and that was most definitely the most brutal battle I've seen.

    Djokovic/Nadal at USO

And I agree with Mac, I genuinely didn't know how they would both carry on playing if it went to a fifth. Even with the 4th set being won 6-1 the match was still about 5 minutes longer than the Del Potro/Federer final in 2009, and that had a whole extra set, and 2 tiebreaks! This years 3rd set was nuts! I salivate at the thought of an entire match going on like that, but at the same time I hope it never happens for the players safety!

I agree, third set Nadal - Djokovic USO and some set (not sure which one) Federer - Djokovic RG.

And the first set was really long too, and it was just a 6-2... it was an amazing match.
