    Hello all...
just wondering what would be a good string for my racquet..
    last string i had was Gamma TNT16 @ 62lbs...
Played fine, i hit the ball fairly hard, either flat or with a bit of topspin... if i play regularly i break strings every 2 to 3 months..
Id like a string, thats a bit soft, yet durable... and that offers a fair amount of spin potential...
Long ago I've used Prince Topspin, and was also wondering if this would be a good match up in a hybrid setup with another string, just to offer a bit more bite into the ball...
cheers and thanks in advance for your suggestions..

this isnt gonna be much help...but check the sig.

the best setup i found so far was 16g synthetic gut at 55lbs. i've tried 60lbs which felt to stiff, 61/59 is my current but feels kinda dead and same for 60/58. i think im just gonna try 56 or so...but w/ my rds001s playing so well...i dont know if i'll have the chance!!

I cant string looser than 60lb... to be honest...
my shots start to float long after that...

i understand. the yonex midplus string patterns are ridiculously open for 16x19 frames. when you string your racket at uniform tension (mains/crosses same tension), do you feel that the stringbed is really stiff? im pretty sensitive to stiffer stringbeds...and i couldnt handle a 17g synthetic gut strung at 60 on that racket.

yes i agree with you, and its quite dead @ top of string bed....
but thats probably cause i havent put that much lead tape on the racquet...
    id say its around 350grams....

I've strung my MP Tour-1 90 with TNT2 at 60 lbs and it was alright. But I like Yonex Tour Super 850 Pro at 63 lbs a lot better. Even higher like 65 lbs is great, as it loosen up a little over a few sets and it'll be good to go.
