I would say that gut is the most powerful string type. VS for me has the most power of the guts that I've tried. Coming from a Poly hybrid though you may find you hit long a fair bit initially.

Yep, another vote for gut, by far. The power ratings with Wilson at #1 is weird to me - since it is manufactured by Babolat, shouldn't it have the same rating as some of the VS sets? Different process, coatings, any other differences?

Not that I have tried the top-end (read: expensive) guts before, I'm quite content with Tonic+.

Is an 17 gauge multi powerful? Compared to Natural gut?

Is't at least more powerful than a gut mains/ poly crosses hybrid?

There is the question of how much power to add, when switching over from polyester. The rest of the string world can seem almost like shifting to variations of "warp speed" then.

The most powerful string is German Guice, only available in Europe, like alot of other great strings that do not make it to the USA. Wonder Why!
