The blog was creative and personally I think more blogs can be done with a different theme.

    Good job Tennis Warehouse =]

These prologues and feigned sub plots are a real waste of time.
    Just get to the products.

I don't want to ruin anything.
I just thought the whole thing with the poker game theme was a waste of time.
    That's my point of view.
Sorry I'm not so easily amused.

Last week's VLOG with the subtle humor was better..
With the "beautiful californian weather" even though it's raining and Chris is getting splashed on, that was funny.
With the poker thing it's like you're all trying too hard to be cool.
This is supposed to be about the products, not a D-grade Scorsese wannabe half assed comedy.

Are you all talking about that crappy World Series Poker parody on the Vlog? That was taking up AO Coverage time on Espn2...?

HyperHorse, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't ruin everyone else's happiness. To tell the truth, we don't really care what you think because of the way you said it. Instead of being a jerk about it, you could have said something like "IMO, the prologues and sub-plots are not very amusing. I care only about the products." You would annoy a whole lot less people.

    Awesome Vlog guys.

Hyper Horse is just expressing his opinion, as very wrong as it may be, it is his right* to express it just as others have expressed their opinions.

    * "Right," as a limited term as this is a private forum.

It's been a while since I've played poker, but it appeared to me that neither Chris nor Spencer actually had a straight. Spencer's hand was: 2,3,4,5, and 7, while Chris' hand was: 2,3,4,5, and 8. Isn't that correct?

    What am I missing?

BTW, who would fold with a royal flush (Jason)??

you are correct BP. that why they didn't say straight, but rather they called it 7 high and 8 high as that was their high card. i had to go back through that part of the video to make sense of it myself.

I knew I had a decent hand going in. But, would you continue betting when the raise is THE Feder Bear?! Its THE Feder Bear! I had to get out before it was too late.

Till next time Vlogman and The Blade, till next time.....

TW, great vlog, definitely my favorite so far. :)

No matter what it is, you just bash away. But I guess you're entitled to you're opinion, no matter how trollish it is. :???:

Guess you've kinda turned into a troll huh?

The person with the highest card won. It wasn't a straight.

Actually, Chris wins it and they aren't trying to create a straight, they are just showing the irony that after they bet all of that the person with 8 as his highest card wins. Do your poker research first.

no he's been like that for awhile lol

neither of them had a straight but chris had the 8 high... which i believe is what they said. iunno i thought the point of jason folding was just to add to the humor, which it did... for me at least. i laughed out loud :)

plus jason is right you can't call the federer bear man... thats just too much.. in all reality anyone wouldve called it with a royal flush, but w.e its just a joke...

Yeah, I guess this is just the first time I've noticed, it doesn't bother me if he trolls against me but he really shouldn't knock TW. The only reason this forum exists is because of TW, he has no right to bash the vlogs.

Everyone's entitled to his or her opinion, and I can respect and appreciate that you didn't care for this vlog, but subtlety and sarcasm must be completely lost on you to make this statement. The fold was the best possible hand in five-card draw, and the 8-high is the second-worst you can possibly get... but it's just strong enough to beat the absolute worst, the 7-high. ;)

TW, you guys know your poker, and I really enjoyed the creativity on this week's vlog! :D

It's more fun to watch something like that then just having Chris explain each product. Obviously, the people at TW want to have fun with their vlogs and if you think they're a waste of time then don't watch them.

Voltron we need some of that spray in you avatar.

I would also like to point out that Jason actually had the second best possible hand in poker. Thus, there was a legitimate reason to fold, as someone may have had a Spades royal flush. Attention to detail!

Guys, the point of the Vlog theme was not to be an exposé on poker! They are tennis players. If you are insulted by the fact that a tennis Vlog skit involving poker was not terribly accurate, than you need to get some perspective and stop whining for the sake of having something to whine about.

Yes, and that happens all the time in 5-card draw poker, too. Someone with a royal flush losing to another guy with a spades royal flush. ;) LOL
