hi, i'm curious about how the volkl midpluses (such as DNX10 or V-Engine 10) are at serving. Which midplus do you guys think is the best for this?

Tour 10 VE MP is a easy serving racket, so was the Classic V1. Serving with the classic V1 was almost effortless.

I just got back from practicing my serve with the V-engine tour 10 MP... its a pretty sweet serving stick. Keep the arm loose and swing and you'll hit a pretty fast heavy serve. The racquet is pretty powerful and the weight just has a natural plow through effect. Just my opinion.

I used to play with the ncode 6.1 95 16*18, great serving racquet. Now, i`m playing with the T10VEmp and is a great racquet for serving too!! You can hit very powerfull flat serves with this frame.

C10 Pro Tour. Great for flat bombs and great grip on kick and slice.

except the C10 ProTour is actually not a midplus. However the C10 Pro is a MP though I actually preferred the V-Engine for serving if nothing else.

Andy: I guess at 93 sq in, the C10 Pro Tour is 2" short of MP.

IMHO ALL the 10 series Volkl MPs are excellent servers... (Don't know about the new DNX 10)
and IMHO, these frames basically have no weaknesses...

I had success with the Tour 10 MP (LOVED serving with that) and of course my current C10 pro. Flat is awesome, spin on second did well.

I'm taking a tennis class right now and out of 18 students only me and a French lady have Volkl. I'm pretty much loyal too them and really want to try a Gen 2 and DNX 10. Glad to see one in the Aussie mens doubles final.

I too think the Volkl 10 series are good serving rackets. I have a C9 Pro (98 sq.in.) and it doesn't serve as easily as the 10VE Mid I use now. Infact, out of my many rackets, I like to serve with my 10VE and my old Dunlop Revelation 90. May be I'm suited to flexy rackets.

The Völkl Tour 10 MP (Gen I) is great for serving, especially the control (ball placement) is amazing.

Did you customize your racquet? If so, can you share the information with us. I added some lead tape to 3 and 9 o'clock position as well as a little bit on the 12 o'clock position but I still seem to have trouble generating pace. All of my other shots are great.

    Thanks in advance.

    All my Volkls serve well:

    Quantum 10
    C10 Pro MP
    Catapult 10 V.I.P. Edition
    Tour 10 VE Mid

Have no problems with powerful flat serves. Best of all, has lots of control to serve wide or kick serves.
