Best WHITE shoe that isn't Nike.

Discussion in 'Shoes and Apparel' started by TennisandMusic, Jun 29, 2007.

  1. I pretty much don't want to deal with Nike's that don't last. So what is the best all white shoe out there? I really need something comfortable and cushy if possible. I really want to try the Yonex 304's but are those made anymore? I don't want to like a defunct shoe. Also no babolat all court III's. Tried those already. Thanks to anyone who can make a suggestion!

Richard Gasquet and myself agree: Asics Gel Enqvists are the best choice out there for all surfaces!

^^^^^^^^^^^^^ amen. most comfortable shoe ever. and the outsole is this weird rubber stuff that doesnt really wear out. it kinda peels a little. its weird but durable.

I second this. I have the one in silver and it is a very good shoe right out of the box. Get the 304..

the 304s are very good, but running low on stock so watch out, but personally I like the 305s in the white/white navy colorway. I have both and like the 305s better, but both shoes are very good, good cushioning and support, can't go wrong with either.

  14. Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I would love to get the vapor 4's as I think the plain white with black looks fantastic, but after reading about the durability it would have to be a no way. There is a barricade that looks ok (the LX?), but I am not sure if the leather on it will change the feel of the shoe too negatively. And it felt like a fairly beefy shoe.

I am curious about the Yonex 304-R. Those look pretty nice and appear to still be made? But if it wears out fast like some say I would again be wary. I suppose I'm somewhat leaning between that Yonex and the Barricade IV LX. The Yonex 305's just look fugly to me. I mean if I decide to wear all white I don't want a funky looking shoe. That's all.
