I am going to restring several rackets. I think I have narrowed it down to these 2. Thanks for any opinions.

I haven't hit BHB7 yet (it's next on my racquet), but I have hit a BHBR/syn gut hybrid. Bottom line, for me it did not have a good feel. It lacked any power and felt very stiff. It did soften up a little after a while, but it was tough. I think I had it at 54/57. The spin that it produced, however, was astounding. I've a couple of polys plus just tried another shaped poly, and this string is far and away the best spin producer. I still have a half set that I plan to string with a smooth poly cross at 36. Hopefully that will soften it up and give me a little power. If it works, I might have a new set up.

havent had bhb7 yet but i have bhbr strung at 50 lbs full bed. it has a lot of spin and pretty good power. the feel is good and i heard it is better than the bhb7 (probably why i chose it over bhb7). also both of these string's durability are not the best compared to other strings...
    but id vote for bhbr

I haven't tried BHB7 but I despised the feel of BHBR. Like danotje, I will also cite a lack of power and it felt like a wooden board. Strung on two occasions @ 47 and 53.

I like BHBR 17 , seems to have plenty of pop for me.
