Is there big difference between them in terms of playability, tension maintenance, durability, etc. ??

    Thanks in advance.

Now down to 4 feet behind the baseline.
I haven't tried the 1.22 but I haven't found a reason to stray from the 1.25. Not a very valuable contribution, but it's something.

I like the 1.22 feel and power freshly strung, but after a while of heavy hitting the 18g starts to move around. For me its not a problem, since I will just cut it out. If you dont hit heavy (lots of spin and hard) or dont mind restringing every few sessions then the 18g is worth a try for sure.

    CpM,

    What's your string pattern? Is it 18 X 20?

There's a huge difference between the Micro and the 1.22, but I doubt that there's much of a difference between the 1.22 & the 1.25. I've played with all three but it's been a long time since I've played with the 1.25, but from what I remember, it plays very similarly to the 1.22.

I prefer the 1.22 over the 1.25. It's got more pop so you have to watch that but the feel is better. It does start moving around quickly. I was surprised last week just after an hour or so how much I was having to adjust strings but I had it pretty loose at 53 so that might be part of it. Both are great strings, it just depends on if you want a little firmer stringbed. They are both big ace, but are quite different in their characteristics. I like the 1.17 the best.

Does the 1.17 lose tension before the 1.22 and 1.25?

I like the 1.25 best...just because its the most similar to what I am used to using: Luxilon ALU Power.

Ive run out...when my next shipment comes in (should be any day now) I will string some up again. Ive always liked Luxilon better and now like Bab PHT even more than both. Big Ace is great but feels a little plastic and lacks in control when compared to lux.
