BA is my poly of choice. I've played with a few polys but BA is the one I always return to.

I'd like to make it a hybrid, although I don't know whether to put a multi or syn gut in the crosses. My main goal is to SOFTEN the feel. Let's keep power to a minimum.

yea syn gut, is a lot better, cuz BA is a powerful poly, so by putting multi, it get too powerful. i put syn gut in them :D

I use Gamma LW Prof, good power choice.

I have BA 1.22 mains/ PS Maxim Touch 1.25 crosses at 51/53 in one of my AG100s. Very happy with this hybrid. Maxim Touch is a very nice, lower-powered multi -- could be what you're looking for.

I would agree, in my current setup with I use MT as my cross BG/MT 53/56 or ALU Rough/MT 53/56

Try FluoroCarbon on the cross, ATP's biggest secret. Luxilon or German Gut makes it for several Top Ranked Players.

While I don't use it, the Big Ace/Maxim Touch combo is awesome!! except it lasted 2 hours before breaking. I usually use Big Ace/Gosen Micro or PSGD and that gives me less playability and spin, but more longevity.
