I spent the entire week at the Farmers Classic and I witnessed Matosevic bark out "NO!" to a little kid that wanted an autograph after a practice session. He kept walking briskly and refused to stop for anybody...even the ATP guy. He's also got a bit of a tude on court too.

Any other current players that come to mind currently on tour?

I didn't ask for the autograph, I don't care for any of them. It was just a little kid that asked and the way the guy responded was pretty mean.

Jeez, aren't you ready to pounce on people that have started threads that have existed before??? Like you've never done that before.

It just gets annoying how every time I sign into this forum the first threads I see are all so negative and immature.

I mean, "Biggest Jerks on Tour" - lots of players have bad days and once in a while fans are going to have the bad luck of coming across one guy who's testy and has no patience with demanding fans. That doesn't necessarily make him a career jerk for life.

Pro players should just create the simulated handwriting digital signature and ask autograph hunters to download it from the ATP site

    Used to be Koellerer.
He was hated by many of his fellow players.
    Caught match-fixing too.
    A piece of work.

    ^This.

He was hated by a lot of ATP players because of his awful personality and habits of cheating on line calls, he would always find a way to get into a fight with the guy on the other side of the net. I'm glad he was banned for life because of the match fix scandals.

And even if he was it still wouldn't be worth it to have to look at that face day in and day out. Lol.

Yeah, I can't imagine a girl being into him for anything physical, even if he has a 2nd racquet down there.

I never knew he was a jerk though. I figured he must have a cool/laid back personality that made people overlook the lord of the rings face.

Roddick can be a ******, not overly tho. James Blake might be the nicest guy I've ever met from the tour. Fish was ehhh stand offish. Harrison had a terrible potty mouth, and in front of kids! Lopez was a dick. Querrey is a super nice guy, karlovic too. All that I can think of right now.

I feel like Roddick can be a jerk on court and in interviews sometimes, but I think in person he's a pretty nice guy. Never heard of anything that says differently.

That match against Delpo in USO is awesome. Del Pony shut down Koellerer's big mouth.

I met karlovic and had a big with him at the Nottingham open back in 07, seemed cool, couldn't understand a word I said though lol. Richard Gasquet actually said hi to me and was a nice guy. Spoke to soderling at wimpy and he was decent, dojokovic had a joke with me as well. I think there ate a lot of arrogant players out there but most are nice and do the right thing with the fans.

Almagro is a total azz. There are stories about him around the boards.

I used to think that Murray had to be a jerk but I have to admit that he went out of his way to be friendly and accomodating after a practice at the USO last year. Really a nice guy (at least that day).

I'm sure Federer has his bad days but I met him the same day I met Murray and he was super cool and relaxed. He got mobbed but he was patient and stayed as long as he could. He couldn't sign for everyone so I'm sure some left disappointed.

    "Almagro is a total azz."

I'll never forget the thread back in the day by a poster here (forget who) who said Almagro treated him like total **** and mocked him (the poster had pulled a broken racket out of the trash, Almagro's hitting partner's) and Almagro took in from him and acted like a total dick, it went on and on....ever since then I root for Almagro to lose. Dude went out of his way to be a jerk to a fan. F him.

Best one ever was the 'demented Eva' thread about Elena Dementieva and how she was denying she was who she was so she wouldn't have to sign autographs in an airport for some dude who put his little kid up to approaching her for autographs. A true hilarious sh*tfest of hall of fame proportions. Epic backfire for OP. Of course it was deleted.

They should keep a digitized signature on their phone and bring it near a fan's phone and transfer it by NFC. But then they could just put it on a web site.

I have heard many people say this about Lleyton also. Metosevic is too irrelevant to get angry about, but if that story about Almagro is true, it definitely puts him in a different light.

Malisse, Berlocq, and Karlovic were jerks when I was a ball kid. Ryan Sweeting was also pretty bad at times. Also, Joao Souza was kinda mean.
Funny that all the "lesser"(but still 1000x better than me) players seem to be the meaner guys. Seems like they should cherish their fans even more than other people, because believe me, the ball kids weren't the only victims of these player's bad attitudes...

Oh, but I do have to mention that Michael Russel was by far the nicest player, and thanks the ball kids after every ball they passed him. Isner, Anderson, and Monaco were pretty nice also.
