Would someone with more experience than me help compare these raquets. I just started playing again in February after a 20 year layoff from the game. I have both strung with Black Venom at 55 lbs. They play very similar to me.

Have hit with both, more pop and spin with the 500 in my hands, more comfort and control with the BLX. Of similar racquets, I prefered the Exo Black, but it was a bit too hard on my arm.

Thanks. I seem to be more accurate with the BLX. I miss long more with the 500. No reason why I can't use both for a while as my technique improves. Leaning to the BLX although that may change as I play more.

The Pro Open, in all its incarnations, has long been regarded as a great frame, and imo a APD beater/rival. Never tried the 500T, but I have never really liked the Dunlop feel.

Haven't tried the biomimetic 500 tour but the 4D version was ok. As long as you hit with a lot of spin it will go in and not long however i found the control lacking a bit, didn't hit with the pro open much only a hit here and there but it seemed like it could do some good

Really appreciate all. Playing at 6, 100 degrees in SC. Will keep swinging both for now, maybe the BLX a bit more.

I have had both. Didnt care for the Bio 500. Really liked the BLX Open.
I am playing with the Pure Storm GT lately and really, really liking it.

Played 3 hrs. Even found a 2 hand BH. Guess I am now a BLX player. Still believe the 500 is a good raquet. The PO just feels right.
