Couldn't say. Never tried RPM Blast. For some reason, it has never intrigued me a great deal.

I've played tour bite and RPM and tour bite is much better IMO. Haven't tried TBS.

Curious about something and maybe some fellow TB users can give me some insight. Do you ever feel like your hand is a bit "numb" the day after you play with it? It's not TE... My hand just feels numb.

Wondering if I should try this string out. To give you some background, I have tried cyclone, Poly tour pro, rip control, rpm blast and a few others. Poly tour pro is probably my favorite followed by cyclone and rip control. I like the feel of PTP but I feel like it lacks a certain amount of pop that I need for my "lower level" game. I would probably use a multi, but I don't feel like I get the same slices, dropshots, and overall feel that I would get with a poly. Any thoughts?

To me, TBite doesn't have a lot of power, not at the 47 lbs I use on a 4DAero300 racket. I use Tbite 16 gauge.
I don't really need more power, I need to hit consistent shots with some bit of thought, to play well against 4.5's. Too much power, like my Aero500's supply with LuxBBLite16 at 52 lbs., just has me hitting harder and harder, playing stupid, and missing lots, leading to playing worse, but hitting harder.

I thought it got me too, it's an awesome string with almost no downside!!! It's my second favorite string period and would be first but my slices just seem to float too much with tb...

Honestly Tourna Big Hitter Blue Rough... It does not have the best feel but it has great spin just the right amount of pop and its cheap enough that I can restring every week...

If not for cost I would be using TB, but I like fresh strings and stringing three racquets every week gets a bit expensive on tour bite...

Tour bite has really sank its fangs into this "victim". Loving this stuff! It's a baseliners dream to play with.

Good to hear, Mike. I'm looking forward to returning homewards this weekend and getting my Speeds restrung with TB. I confess to wandering off the TB path last time I took them to the stringers, but I honestly don't know why I bother dabbling elsewhere... :)

Yeah this string really does it all for me, and I feel like its going to really bring out my full potential. Right now I'm still trying to figure out my serve, but everything else is pretty solid for the most part.

I think I caught in the holic thread that you tried gut/poly? How'd that go? I couldn't imagine playing a powerful string in this racket with my play style

These ports sure do make a difference in comfort, though! That's for sure...

    Count me in.
I tried Lux ALU and the ROUGH,M2 PRO the original Rough, RPM Blast and some other strings but nothing hits as good as TB in 1.25. Just love this string.

I have been using TB 17 1,20 in my pro tour and radicals that are 18x20 rackets, absolutely couldnt be happier with the string plenty of spin despite the dense string pattern, lasts a long time for a poly. Any sense in me trying the 1,25?

Revolution is a good string too. I hit with Pure Storm that had Revolution strung at like 35 pounds and it was insane.

Well this string really is biting...right into my arm. Think the only way I MIGHT be able to still use it is ELT...sad.

Actually after I go through my 4 pack of 4G (why did I buy this? I don't restring until it breaks and it's been over 3 months) I'll go back to TB. Is the tension maintenance actually good with this string? I used 16 gauge when I used this about a year or two ago and I'm thinking of moving up to 17.

I feel a date was worth it if you satisfied your date :). Well I've never been on a date so I just threw that out there blindly

Imo 16l is great for open patterns and 17 for tight ones

Just bought tb 17 after playing with 16 and 16L. What tension do you think will be the best for getting good power on a ozone tour MP 16x18, based on your experience?

Interested in your feedback. I hesitate to switch for RPM Blast or TBS on my pro open...
