I found one today and played for about 3 hours with it. I believe it's an 85 sq inch, possibly 90. Any info on this racquet would be appreciated as it's hard to find anything on the web.
    Thanks!

~87 sq. in. head (Head sz. is slightly larger than a PS85 and smaller than a n90)
    ~53 RA flex
    ~315-320 SW (strung, leather grip)
    ~12.7 oz. strung
    ~6pts. HL

There are various versions of the Black Max (bumpered, bumperless) so the above specs will differ depending on which version you have.

I have one that I only hit with once that's in close to perfect shape. I've hit w/ PS 85s and feel that the black max feels a little more demanding. It hits closer to the wilson graphite matrix, a pre prostaff, no PWS mold thats 85 sq in, about the same weight, and has a 16x19 string pattern rather than the 16x18 found on the ps 6.0 85. I definitely felt the 12.7 oz weight. Heavy racquet = hitting a heavy ball. Unfortunately it is not the best match for my game. I'd love to get rid of it or trade though :)...

Thanks for the comparison between the Black Max and the PS 85, Caesar.

I actually enjoyed the nice heft of the Black Max, but it felt a little squishy to me -- flexible frame, perhaps? From psp2's provided specs, 53 flex seems a bit soft to me. Would you say that the PS 85/90s frames have a similar feel, or different? I've noticed that not all frames play to there declared flex/stiffness.
