I've been using white overgrips for a few years but I'm kind of sick of them looking terrible when they get dirty. I like Yonex Supergrap the best, have also used Tourna which I hate because of poor durability and Gamma Supreme which gets too slick when sweating (and I don't even sweat that much). Anyways, I was thinking about just buying a 30 pack of the black supergraps but have read a few bad things about the colored supergraps as compared to the white. So I was wondering about the comparison to the white and the black overgrips and also what black overgrips are the best?

I like how black overgrips as well compared to white ones, especially on my racquets which are mostly black.

    But Ive tryed these ones:

    Wilson Pro
    Wilson Pro Soft
    Gamma Supreme
    Yonex Supergrap

And it's been my experience in that all of those brands the black was far worse then the white.

I have a order of Prince DuraPro+ currently so Im hoping that might be okay but I guess I'll see. I held the replacement grip version of it on a demo racquet and liked the initial feel but I have no idea how it holds up in an actual match when Im sweating.

I have a Head Hydrosorb, and I really like it because i've been playing for over 6 months and it still is in good condition, and it doesn't slip at all.

Keep the white grip so at least you know when to change it.

I feel that I could still somehow figure out when to change it even if it's black.

stop being picky. white feels better than any other color anyways. you could just use the backside of the grip if you're tired of changing overgrips.

It's not a matter of being tired of changing overgrips. It's a matter of I would rather have black than white/brown. I don't change them right when they get dirty or I'd be changing them after every set.

I use black overgrips for roughly the same reason - change when the grip is worn rather than because it looks bad... I like the Volkl Super Grip II which comes in a 30 pack. In my book, it is better (for me) than Wilson Pro white (either old or new version).
