I have a few students using the blade 93... I see Djokovic is playing with a racket that looks bigger than the Blade 93 but painted to look like the 93... Does anyone knows what he is using? also I see a lot of post saying midsize is the way to go ,has anyone compared the Blade 93 to 98? what's the different?

A midsize is the way to go depending on your skill level.

Djokovic is using a custom mold created by wilson to be similar to an old Head racket.

yes ,why? both of my students are Nat'l ranked 16 boys... one guy has a big serve and ok groundies. the other has a all court game with crazy slice and two handed topspin and is quite accurate with wide array of shots ...how can a 98 help these two?

i use the KBlade 98 it has a nice mix of power, control, and stablility, i heard that Djoker's "KBlade" is custom made to be similar to his old Head LiquidMetal Radical Midplus

the 93 is for more advanced players

He was using a 98 sq inch head custom mold, then asked wilson if they could make him a 95ish sq inch head custom mold. He is not playing with a 93 sq inch head, nor is it weighted like the kblade tour.

anyone know the weight or specs of joker's racquet? I'm actually quite interested to see how different it is from the KBT I bought.

    to answer the OP...

the 98 is more spin friendly, and is pretty maneuverable as well, but not as much as the the 93. its more powerful, and more forgiving, so its gonna work well with players who are in the 3.5+ range.

the 93 is more about control and is more maneuverable because of the more headlight balance. and it has amazing feel and touch. however, its less forgiving, and less spin friendly.

i can see why the kid with the big serve likes the 93. it whips through the air much quicker than the 98.
