On the other hand, I'm quite happy with the result, and dare I say - I expected Mario to win. :D

What was going on at the end of the second set? I got up to get ready for work and turned on the TV when it was 5-4 or 4-5 for Blake and the announcers were jawing on about how much Blake would be dissapointed if he didn't win. Did James have a big lead in the second set before Mario came back?

Believe Blake was up 2 service breaks in the 2nd set, nailing forehand winners like it was a hardcourt. He is serving for the 2nd set and cannot get his 1st serve in. Same thing happens 3rd set, serving at 5-4.

Tough loss for James. He was the favorite to win this match. Up a set and a break in the 2nd set. I was watching this match before I went to work. When Ancic won the 2nd set tiebreaker, I knew it was over for Blake.

When Ancic won that 3rd set TB, I knew it was over too. Kinda bit though, Blake was playing so well that the announcers stated Roddick should take note.

I actually thought Blake was still gonna win the match after he lost the third set tiebreak (and the match). 8)

Reuters headline announced that Blake had won that match! That's how badly Blake choked! I really like him and his game but he's one serious choker.

Anyway, I only saw the 3rd set and I have a couple of questions:

    1. Is Ancic the slowest dude on tour?
    2. Was Ancic sick?
    3. Is Ancic out of shape?

Reason I ask these is because Ancic looked extremely slow on court at times(I know he's 6'5" but he was slow even by Karlovic, Rossett and Martin standards) and also he was arming some shots back even though he had plenty of time to take a full cut at them.

Blake choked, and Mario brought out his A game...and played the big points when it counted. He had 3 match points against him. They don't call him Super Mario the Come Back Kid for nothing. A great match to watch...a keeper in my file of taped matches.

    Ajmo Mario....
