Roger is 2-0 against James but the last time they played Roger barely won 7-6, 7-5 in Cincy. This will be their 3rd meeting but their 1st time meeting in a final. Does James have a chance winning a set, maybe 2...three? This is a best of 5 set match.

P.S. Sorry about the title. It's a typo. I tried editing the title but wasn't able to.

I will say Fed in 4 sets, it could be a huge upset if Roger sinks his level of play.

"Black vs. Federer" ? That's pretty racist, in my book. Calling someone by the color of their skin, as if they were not worthy of a name, only a vague description. And why does Federer get to be called by his name? Why not designate him as 'White'? At least that woulda made it equally racist, not just against blacks.

This is the second thread with that title. I think the mods should edit that. I agree. It is Blake.

Not sure about the title being "racist". I wonder if Tchocky was so preoccupied about garnering opinions before placing his bet that he forgot to do a spell-check. :)

rilokiley: You didn't even notice! That's how racist you are! Just kidding of course.
Seeing 'Blake' when it's really 'Black' is understandable. But typing that is not. Look at your keyboard, it's nearly impossible.

I don't see Blake winning as Blake had a much much more difficult draw the Fed.

Fed got the easy side of the lader, top players usually do.

It's a typo! I tried correcting it but I wasn't able to change the title. I love James and he has always come through for me but I just can't see him winning.

    "Black vs. Federer?"

Who are you, Hewitt? LLeyton, go to bed, get some rest and after having some Vegemite with Bec in the morning go out and hit a few hundred topspin lobs. C'mon ...

Blake and Black are almost phononyms, so the mistake is easy to make when in a hurry. I forgive you as I've done worse. :) If you were GW or Casey Stengel, well....

Federer will take him down convincingly. Fed's recent results confirm that he is in invincibility mode. He's seemed vulnerable ever since that '05 Open, then the Masters, then his exhibition loss to Haas and his trouble in Australia and his loss to Nadal...but right now he's very close to having a golden aura around him. Blake is hot right now but even if he takes the first set, I don't think he has enough experience to be taking out Federer in a best of 5 match. Federer will get him on the defense quickly in each point and Blake won't be in position to hit those piercing forehands.

Dave, why do you always seem to mention the word "race" or "racist" or "racism" in your posts? Coincidence? Ja?
