blue gear/big ace substitute

    are there any good substitutes for this combo? I'm ordering from tw and i need some strings. bg/ba is my current hybrid.

    There is really no substitute for that combo. Blue Gear is in its own league. You can try Hextreme but it feels stiffer and has less spin.

    That's quite a combo, which one is the main? I'm still waiting on my frame which I put BA on with XCel POwer crosses. I'm so anxious to hit with it tomorrow, supposedly no rain, but then after that it all goes to hell rain till SUN, what gives?

    The string has the same shape but the problem is that it plays very bad. It is stiff and plays nothing like Blue Gear. Which is probably why no mentions the string on this board...

    MSV Hex is soft like BA, softer than BG.
