My friend invited me to go to bolleteri's camp over the summer for two weeks, which is quite helpful b/c next year I have to try out for varsity (Juniors can't be on JV) and about 10/14 spots are locked, possibly 11. I wanted to know if its worth the money, if it turns you into a better player. I'm 15, turning 16 over the summer, about 5'9 (hopefully I'll get a few more inches ) weigh about 125, and am willing to work my *** off to make Varsity. And as for a rating, I have no idea, I would think (based on those really vague descriptions at USTA) that I'm a 4.0, but I dont think so. I beat my uncle (who plays in Ohio, 4.5 league, like 6-4 6-4, but then I lose to a friend of my dad's who plays in california at 3.5 leagues. I would think I'm at least a 3.0 maybe a 3.5 (but by the descriptions it sounds like anything under 4.0 sucks, really bad descriptions). So anybody have any ideas, should I go? How were your experiences?
