Can anyone explain the HITCH when Borg hit his two-handed backhand. I have my own theory and want to see if anyone agrees w/ me.

What do you mean by "hitch"? What first came to my mind was a wrist snap just before hitting the ball which gives the ball more pace because of the accelerated racket head speed. Is that what you're talking about?

when he took the racket back especially after he had hit forehand he kind of cocked it as opposed to bringing it back w/ both hands like Roddick, Andre or even Connors

    did not change grip

since I got no reply to this thread , I will tell you my take on the hitch. He was the first w/ the almost exergerated western grip. All he he did was not change his grip but turn the face of the racket and put his left hand on the backhand
to guide the shot - therefore having the hitch and having such topspin and whipping wrist snap on the backhand - any thoughts
