Brad Gilbert--shouldn't use poly

    Ok I have a question for you guys. How come the best spin I ever get on the ball is when I mishit it off the frame? There are hardly any strings involved in that shot :)

    Like I've been saying - stiffness. Isn't your frame much stiffer than your stringed? :)

    because your regular topspin ball/technique is inadequate...

    are these shanks traveling with pace or just spin like a drop shot?

    Naw, doesn't happen to me that often, but when it does I am sometimes amazed by the topspin at times. High arc with a high topspin kick when it bounces.

    Maybe the next step will be pros playing with no strings at all.....Just large paddles.
