ATP officials did the inevitable and knocked Sandbagger Roger Federer up to the new 8.0 NTRP level. Mirka responded, saying she was "appauled, I mean Roger is just treeing at the moment, in his practices he looks much more like a true 7.0, he even misses inside-out running backhand passes occasionally." While officials suspected for a while that Federer was self-rating well below his ability, the problem materialized when several players submitted complaints, citing their double bagel losses to Federer even while playing their best. good one @wright!lol.......man he truly demoralized roddick yesterday. andy wanted to cry......i think he has a chance if he stays more calm in the future and sticks some more volleys. i am not a natural volleyier either but have been trying to come in more so when i see andy slap and easy floater long i can relate. we baseliners who are learning to become better net players get so excited when we are actually in position to stick a winning volley that we fluff a lot of them due to our hyperactive state up there.

Fed In Law Suit Against ATP

Roger Federer has filed a multimillion dollar law suit against the ATP for loss of income following his uprating to the NTRP 8.0 level (specially created for him). Roger was quoted as saying, "This is another example of useless meaningless bureaucracy. Those w*****s who pretend to run this sport have created a new NTRP level just for me alone leaving me with no one to play against.. just because I'm beating up on Andy Roddick.. I mean.. come on! The least they could have done if they were going to create a new level for me is surely to make that a (perfect) 10!"

No one at the ATP was available for comment.

    Breaking News:

The ITF have filed a suit against the ATP for working with the USTA in creating a ranking system imposed internationally, treating its non-american players unfairly and allowing possible handicapping of all American players when faced with "8.0 Players." When David Nalbandian was asked to comment, he kept it simple: "It sucks! My record against Federer should make me 9.0!!!!" When asked about recent matches with Federer, Nalbandian waved the bird.

Lleyton Hewitt is also suing the ATP because the 8.0 rating was no offered when he was world #1 and it is charging the ATP with conspiring to further drive his reputation down despite his re-emergence to the top 10 in 2004.

Breaking news, the Williams sisters said they could beat any male player rated 6.0 or lower ignoring their string of losses to women at the 5.0 and below level. The W sisters stated that while education and fashion design remained the most important thing in their lives after family they would continue to play the WTA tour as long as they got favorable seeds above what their rankings called for. Richard Williams negotiating a major deal for the World Bank was unavailable for comment.

Martina Navratilova has just signed a deal with Pfizer Pharmaceuticals to clone her DNA (dubbed 7.0 @ 50) to prospective in-vitro parents who want to raise a tennis prodigy. When mixed with Dura-flex, they believe the DNA can sustain itself at the 7.0 level well into a person's 60's.
