So I have never broken a string, until when I bought my RDS001 with yonex atg 850 pro strings. I broke 2 strings for the first time in probably 5 years of playing tennis. Does this mean I am playing with more power and spin then before?

Partly it's equipment, but partly yes it does mean you are getting more spin and racquet head speed. If you are consistent, congratulations!

you might of just hit a misshit and broke it. i play with a kid who does that all the time. but what suprises me is i have tonic gut in my crosses [60lbs]and alu power [58lbs] in my n6.1 tour 90 and its lasted like 3 weeks playing 15hours a week the strings havent even notched yet but the gut is fraying

not the greatest thing in the world to be an ass.

as for the OP, your strings could have broken because the strings were multis. they're not durable at all....and fray very easily...but at the same time, it could mean that you're hitting harder w/ more spin.
