They are both known as the best of the best tennis shoes. But which one do you prefer?
I have used both. But after using barricade II for long time knee pain due to lack of cushioning but no such problem so far with BF II. I am not hard on shoes so durability is not that important for me.
Barricades II for me
breathe free II
I personally perfer the Breathe free II. IMO it is the best tennis shoe that I have ever worn. The barricades are also great shoes, but I just perfer the breathes.
i think the breathe free is the greatest shoe ever made. the nike vapor speeds are better for me, but only if i were sponsored like federer is. for my money you just cant beat the breathe frees. try to get them at a nike factory store, i got mine for 40, wore through them in under 6 months, and got a 110 dollar nike product voucher. not bad eh?
Chiru, that is awsome that you were able to find them for 40 and get another pair to replace them. I had a similar stroke of luck where i found the red and black bf II at a nike factory store for 60 bucks. I was not so lucky with the warranty. Apparently it didnt hold up because nike had already discontinued warranties on that particular color way of the bf.
my feet still get hot in the BF II
I have only tried Barricade II's because there a little cheaper.
I use to think that the BIIs were perfect other than the cushioning which was just average. After you buy a proper insole it completely changes everything as far as cushioning.
yeah I tried to change insole on Barricade II but they got heavy and become slippery on hard courts. Also shoes has to provide some cushioning rather depend entirely on insole..
Barricade II's -
For me nike shoes are the best.
Yea nike is the shizit
