It seems that the tennis world has been awed by the comeback of Martina Hingis. She proved that she is once again back in the thick of things in Womens' tennis. Schultz-McCarthy once held the world's fastest serve record by a woman at 125 until broken by Venus Williams at 127.4 (although Venus hit a serve 135 mph at the Aus Open in 03, that seemed in, but called out).

Brenda was given a wildcard into Tokyo. She won her first qualifying match over Cara Black 7-5,6-2. But then lost in the 2nd round 6-3,7-5 to Saori Obata. Not too shabby!
