No he's in Federer's half, he could play Djokovic in the 2nd round.

He ain't a punk. He was world No1 junior in 2002. He is only 25. Let's hope he takes out Djoker in the 2nd round, woohoo.

Sometimes these journeymen can be dangerous especially this guy on clay and he is south American. This might be his only chance of doing anything great in his career and he might pull off something. He has nothing to lose. My money is still on Djoker in straights but just saying we might see a surprise.

Of course. Dabul is as tough as it gets, but Federer will beat him :).

I wouldn't be afraid of the SF if Federer didn't have to face someone called Mr Nadal in the final. I believe Federer will beat Djoker in the semi final but it will be a tough match which might affect him for the final coz he is 27 years old now. If Federer and Djokovic could meet in the final, that would have been epic.

Exhibition match? 1 set? I wouldn't take this seriously.

It proves that Rafa is a gentlemen. Rafa knows it would help to boost the other guy confidence so let him win a set in exhibition... then he'll give him a few bagel for breakfast at RG..

Rafa is not a gentleman. He made Federer cry at the AO final.

I think we are seeing proof that Nadal will NOT win this year. You simply cant always win.

not all of them mind, just rafa ;)

can't read anything into the result, but if novak takes his eye off the ball it could be another Wimby 08 for him.

Nadal's lost this kind of one-set practice match like that so many times on a practice court. I bet he didn't expect a loss in an unofficial match would make a new (and it shouldn't). It's pathetic that they made the news out of this in the first place. What a waste of a headline space.
