Interesting... I got to see her play at the USO, I believe against Kuznetsova.. she was feisty. I will track her results this year, but I am not a WTA person to begin with...

Yeah I think she could be in for a high rise this year as she has always had the talent by the bucketload but has never really believed or used her strengths until recently.(The feistyness never came out till recently and she had some harsh things to say about the direction guidance she had from her longtime initial coach Alan Jones before they split. He formerly coached Brit Jo Durie who got to #5 in the world in the 80s)

I also think Alize Cornet and Caroline Wozniaki will have outstanding years with an outside chance of a slam final for one/or both.

Should be interesting to see what happens anyway

She is a great player...I think 2009 will be a good year for her, she has all of the weapons...nice serve, powerful forehand...hopefully she will learn from her losses in 2008.

Nice to see a successfull British Ladies player inside the top 100 since Sam Smith.

I was impressed with Annes play at Wimbledon last yr against Venus. Her groundstrokes looked sharp and she seemed in good shape.

    Best of luck in 09.

A Brit in the WTA top 100, that gives her a future career in commentary I guess

In the meantime, best of luck to her for the season.

Great to see Anne Keothavong doing well so far this year.

She was in Sydney last year and happened to be practising at my local club.

She was nice and friendly to everyone.

 she is being lined up as we speak ;-)

I wish her well this year, I have met her a couple of times over the years and she is a really nice lady (a very well spoken one).
