Just broke my luxilon rough. Is there anything else good out there?

This one was pretty good but a bit too soft for me, I strung at 54lbs so I don't know if that's why. I want some string with more pop, but still good spin. What's good?

Brother, if you found ALU rough to be too soft, then you have an arm of jello. There isn't anything out there that feels like ALU, let alone something MORE powerful and MORE uncomfortable. The only thing I could recommend trying is Babolat Revenge.

I envy you for your "arm of jello."

    Mad props to you bro.
Go with Revenge. It has pretty amazing pop. Sounds like gun shots. Literally.

I just read that Revenge is soft. I don't want a string that feels dead after a few sessions of playing. I want something that maintains its pop and power.

If I get luxilon rough again and string at 60lbs how will it be? Will it go dead sooner or break much quicker?
    Also how's babolat RPM blast?

You'd need to string it with steel to make that bed feel any more stiff than alu.

16 gauge Kevlar strung at the same tension should be stiff enough...
