Sorry if this has been covered - used the search function b4 I started....

Anyone have anything on the dust up between Bryans v Ivo/Frank at Del Ray?

Cnnsi site has pic of them being "urged back" by an official after / during(?) their match.

I know Bob and Mike lost to Ivo and Frank at the Open last year.

    just curious.....

Moser was doing some stuff on court that Mike took exception too and during the handshake pretty much told him it was bush league.....(in not so polite terms). They actually got into again in the lounge and the tour supervisor had to step in and break it up again. I saw an interview with Moser after and he made the comment that the Bryans should be happy they got a set off Karlo and himself......kinda smug.

Ha ha.. if Moser said that and then backed it up with another win this time then it's pretty smug, but the Bryan's should also take the hint. Their success in doubles has come off their skill plus the fact that the 50-odd best doubles players in the world rarely ever play doubles.

Not dissing doubles specialists but a few times over the years some have seemed a bit big for their boots. Leander Paes springs to mind.

How do you separate Karlovic and Moser (no dwarf himself at 6' 5") from their targets? Sounds like everyone was just acting tough, as is the way in these bust-ups between tennis players.

I know...tennis players acting tough is just so funny. I rememeber JMac in his prime going toe to toe (so to speak) with Tomas Smid and saying he was going to fight the "commie"....at a WCT event. hahahaha little 5 "11" prep school kid from upper class Douglaston threatening to beat someone up!!!!!

I saw the end of Moser/Ivo vs. The Bryans. The Bs seemed slightly annoyed with Moser who was taking his jolly time on changeovers fixing his hair and also between points when he served some times. One time it looked like Moser made the call and the Bs got on him, one B said Come on dude you can't make that call. something like that. Moser and Ivo were not giving the Bs the respect they deserved and were often smiling and chuckling between points, having fun. At the end of the second set, close game, there was a CRAZY point all over the court, Ivo/Moser got back a slow high lob type of ball and Ivo, back by the baseline, actually starting waving his hands and jumping, like a giant windmill doing jumping jacks, to distract B as he waited to hit the slow ball. i never saw a player do what Ivo did. the crazy point ended up with B locked in crosscourt forehands with Moser and finally B missed it wide and Ivo/Mo won the game, Moser screaming a loud YES! They ended up winning the set and the match TB. Easily the best match I saw all week in Delray. A lot of fun. I was actually behind the baseline first row and didn't even realize there were harsh words at the net (was sitting with a female friend). It doesn't surprise at all though because there were some hints of tension evident during the match and it's natural that it spilt over. The Bs are super nice guys but they definitely have a fiery side, I have heard that they trash talk at the netpost under their breath sometimes to the opponents, they have had locker room incidents (later settled of course), they got into it with Paes one time as Paes tried to mock the Bs on court once, saying he invented the chest thump, but the Bs took exception because the Jensen's actually invented it.

I remember seeing Karlo do the balloon man in the wind trick to try to distract an opponent. Kinda bush league but shouldn't really affect a professional. Sounds like a fun match.

Sounds like they need a tag team octagon rematch. The euros would be tough.
