After the "build your own player" thread, imagine what would be the worst pro player...please for each part of the game, select a player who is/was in the top ten.

    Forehand: Edberg
    Backhand: Rosset
Return: Noah (Very hard to find a top ten player without a strong return...)
    Serve: Chang
    Volley: Courier
    Overhead: Agassi
    Footwork: Ivanisevic
    Athletism: Korda
    Focus: Ivanisevic
    presence on court: Leconte.

I don't think Agassi had a bad overhead, his volleys was the worest ever for a top tenner

The worst pro player would definitely be an equal blend of Pam Shriver and Brad Gilbert.

I thought he may have gotten to #9 at one point but may not have held it long enough to count. Regardless, I agree that he had the worst serve among top pros. Heck if he had a decent pro serve he would have been a top 5 player.

Hehe. That's why, when former pros like Laver and McEnroe talk about going back to wood he's the first to pipe up with illogical disagreement. What he really wants to say is "don't take away the precious!"

Funny thread. I'm gonna build my worst WTA player:

Forehand: Shriver (or sharapova's left-handed forehand, LOL!)
Backhand: ??? Can't think of one. Graf came to mind, but I think I'm just comparing her backhand to her forehand...
    Return: Serena Williams (LOL!) ;)
    Serve: Dementieva
    Volley: Hantuchova
    Overhead: Sharapova
    Footwork: Hantuchova
    Athleticism: Bartoli
    Focus: Mauresmo
    Nerves: Pierce
    presence on court: Petrova
    Power: Hingus

I think Kournikova needs to be on one of those lists.. (I think her serve was more awful than dementieva IMO.. remember at the Australian where she had 34 double faults in one match? or something like that)

What Baggy plays as many 5 setters as anyone else on tour. Just last week he played a hard fought, grueling 5 setter against Djokovic and was he the one physically breaking down? NO. Fat people can have as much physical stamina as skinny people.

Ha was brad gilbert that bad of a player. I cant find any vids of him on youtube. From what I heard he had no weapons but sort of played to opponents weaknesses. I wonder if his son who's going to play at cal is the same way.

Actually, he was even worse than that.

For the sake of all spectators, I sincerely hope not.

Pretty good if you go outside the constraints of top 10 players. However I would not include Edberg in the list. Granted his backhand was better than his forehand, but then again his backhand was better than most players forehands. ;)
