I'm going with the gators.. despite all the freshmen in their lineup, I see them taking out the bulldogs in a 4-3 thriller

Gators have beat them twice already this season. Anything can happen. I will be in Gainesville this weekend to watch the open rounds of the mens and womans tennis matches - and pick up a baseball game Friday night.

The baseball game is against GA, who is not having such a great year. Its always fun beating GA in anything, though. On a side note. I ran into John Isner at the last GA/FL match in Gainesville. He talked a few minutes heading onto the stadium. I was kidding him that I root for him on the tour - even though he is a dog. He thanked me. LOL

I think think the overall advantage goes to Florida with their wins over Georgia already. They definitely have more depth than the Dawgs with Bo Seal out on suspension. However, anything can happen at Magill. Rest assured, the stands will be packed for every Dawg match.

I wish Manny would punish him some other way...Or is it some type of N.C.A.A violation?

If one guy does it and gets away with it you've opened Pandora's box. Strong message sent by the coach.

UGA barely squeezed by the Noles 4-3 today.. came down to #5 singles and UGA won 6-3 in the third... interesting stuff

Home court advantage can be pretty big though... we'll have stands full of dawg fans..

    Should be loud.

edit: I predict UGA winning 4-2

I agree...home court advantage is huge! Not only do you have the crowd behind you, but you get to sleep in your own bed, eat what and where you're used to eating, etc etc...

huge advantage... i have the dogs winning 4-2 as well

I'm pulling as hard as possible for UGA, I don't think we'd have a shot in the quarters against Texas but it would be great to end the season beating UF after losing twice to them. Honestly though, unless the crowd really pumps the Dawgs up, I've got UF beating UGA something like 4-2 and UF losing to TX in the Quarters.

It's going to be Florida... 4-2. Georgia will take the doubles point and one of the lower singles lines.

I think Texas will pull it out. They are up a set in the remaining two matches (OU leads 3-2). But, it's definitely close enough for OU to win one of the matches. OU lost 6-1 earlier in the year, so this would be quite an upset.

Dang, I work 30 min. from UGA and didn't get to leave until late. I thought about going to the match but left work and just came home afterward, now I'm kicking myself. Go DAWGS!

Georgia pulled it out. I didnt like the matchup to begin with. Playing a huge rival on their home court, in the national championships. at night - upset written all over that.

I pull for the SEC when the Gators are out.

The Gators did win the SEC in Baseball last night, though.

georgia is playing extraordinary well at the right time of year... home court advantage does help but they will have their hands full in the final four..

As a Virginia fan, I want Georgia to beat Tennessee. Hard to pull for Georgia, but I will.

Tennis trivia: Tennessee last beat Georgia men in Athens in 1993.

Pick your poison friend. Either way beating Georgia at home or Tennessee on neutral (still SEC soil) for a 2nd time this year will be a tall task. BTW Athens is a pretty short drive from Knoxville.

When was the last time UVA beat Georgia in Athens or Tennessee at a neutral site? Just curious. Should be great matches and wish I could be there.
